Giraffe™ offers a great dental Lighting and Magnification system. Bench work and final inspection in dental labs or offices can now be enhanced thanks to a superior system of lighting and magnification available from Giraffe™, the leader in task lighting systems. That means greater productivity, better prosthetic appliances, a lower rejection rate and decreased down time due to eyestrain.

		Choose the light source you want, because Giraffe™ lamps can be used with regular or halogen bulbs. Or better yet, use a full-spectrum, natural daylight "Chromalux"™ bulb for superior color rendition.

Giraffe™ lamps provide the optimal angle between "line of sight" and "line of light." Separating light and magnification produces small shadows (or relief) resulting in excellent rendition. Unlike other systems, whose single light and magnification sources increase glare and decrease shadow, Giraffe™ lamps help viewers see the true depths, and the true details, of the works at hand.

		Giraffe™ lamps use rimless magnifiers and lenses virtually free of edge distortion to ensure that no features distract the eye from the work object. In this manner, Giraffe™ lamps allow the viewer's central and peripheral vision to focus on the work object rather than the lens housing.
The lenses' generous focal length and forgiving depth of field allow plenty of room for work and tools, without objects coming in and out of focus. The lamp heads and magnifiers are mounted on flexible necks which can be set in virtually any position. Once in place, they will not respond to vibration, nor will they droop or sag, allowing work to continue without interruption for adjustments.

The 3/4 inch steel flex neck is covered with tough polyvinyl. The patented heat sink/dual shade system assures comfort and safety and the lamp will not heat up, even after hours of use.
